Pastor Mike joined the staff as the Assistant Pastor in November of 2008. He has a passion to serve, encourage others and to witness to the lost so that they might come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. He is a graduate of Antietam Bible College with a Bachelors Degree in Pastoral Studies. While going to school he served as youth minister at Zion Baptist Church and served as youth counselor at Extreme Impact Ministries.

Pastor Mike married his lovely wife Heather in 2006 and God has blessed them with a wonderful daughter named Olivia and a precious son Xavier. Together they want to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and faithful to the ministry that God has called them to here at MBBC.
